PAL August 2007

During my first year of long-term substituting at Gardner Road Elementary, I taught a student in great need of support and extra care.  I decided to mentor him through the PAL program.  We spent much time together working on social, academic, and personal growth.  I was deeply upset when the PAL program ended, but I continue to keep in touch with Dakota.

ASETS Newsletter

Achieving Sex Equity Through Students (ASETS) was a program in New Jersey that encouraged students to explore non-traditional careers.  I was the faculty advisor for the program for several years while working at Lincoln Professional Development School (prek-8).  My responsibilties included attending conferences with small groups of selected students and guiding them to complete follow-up projects and presentations.
